DIY Project: Personalized Wedding Emergency Kit

I made this little kit a few weeks ago, but couldn't post it until after I gifted it. This past week the time had finally come to fly to Sweden and surprise one of my dearest friends at her Bachelorette Party, so now I can finally share this awesome DIY.

I handmade the zipper pouch for this kit, and personalized it with the bride's new name, but you could obviously use any pouch or toiletry bag of appropriate size. I also made a matching mini pouch (and made sure it would fit an iPhone as well), to keep some itty-bitty essentials close at hand during the wedding, without having to bring the entire kit. Both pouches has zippered lining pockets both outside and inside, the mini pouch fits perfectly inside the outside pocket of the large one. I further personalized the content of this kit by using the bride's perfume and makeup favorites (after sneakily fishing for brands, colors, etc. over the phone).

Of course, these kits are not only for wedding day emergencies, but perfect to keep in your purse to cover most pickles while on the go, and for traveling as well, as it is airport friendly. These are pretty easy to put together, and you can adjust what you put in the kit according to need, recipient preferences and the occasion.
